Had a blast in Raleigh and came home with two count them two awards: the best PBO Anthony for THE DAY SHE DIED (accepted by Terri Bischoff and her dimples) and the Sue Feder Memorial Macavity for A DEADLY MEASURE OF BRIMSTONE.
Got San Diego and back without getting lost much at all. Thank you to all the booksellers and readers at Avid Reader, Book Passage, Mystery Ink, Mysterious Galaxy, Bookshop Benicia, Books Inc and Kepler's.
I knew that 130 Grandmas who raise money for Sacramento Children's Home were the people to be with when I needed expert hugs. Took my broken arm and Vicodin brain along and had a blast. Geat to meet Erin Dealey and Chris Enss and hang out with Cindy Sample too.
I was amazed and humbled at Left Coast Crime when A DEADLY MEASURE OF BRIMSTONE brought me a third consecutive Bruce Alexander Memorial Award for best historical mystery.
