I was amazed and humbled at Left Coast Crime when A DEADLY MEASURE OF BRIMSTONE brought me a third consecutive Bruce Alexander Memorial Award for best historical mystery. 

What a double treat - to spend the evening talking to Laurie King and to have a jaunt down to Kepler's Books.

It really was. I had a wonderful time at the Edgars. Met Stephen King, hugged some of my favourite people. Here are two of them - my agent Lisa Moylett of Coombs Moylett MacLean and my editor Terri Bischoff of Midnight Ink.

ALA + Pride was all kinds of wonderful, including meeting Marie - a fellow displaced Scot - at the SinC booth.
